Long ago, there was a small kingdom named Viridian.

While seeking to expand its borders, Viridian's fate was forever changed when it disturbed a clan of vampires.

The creatures set upon Viridian in anger, spilling the blood of thousands.

Viridian's king pleaded for peace, but the vampire lord dictated humiliating terms.

Viridian would never again encroach on their land, and each king would surrender his firstborn on their 25th birthday, starting with the king's daughter.
